Oman Data Park provides cloud and cyber security services to the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah

Muscat, May 2023: The Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah signed an agreement with Oman Data Park Company, for the provision of cloud services, hosting e-mail, monitoring, follow-up services and cyber security services to the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, within the frame work of the digital transformation process, and in line with efforts to achieve the Oman Vision 2040’s objectives.

The agreement also includes the pursuit to find new opportunities for cooperation between the two sides, providing modern systems and technologies, and communication solutions to meet the requirements of the   Governorate of Dakhiliyah, in addition to encouraging the exchange of experiences in various fields.

In accordance with this  agreement, Oman Data Park will create and host the domain name (domain) and e-mail IDs  for the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah , Where an official electronic address for the governorate will be provided  to be used by the  visitors and beneficiaries of electronic services, while an  e-mail ID  will also be available for each, in addition to providing secure hosting, cyber security services and technical support, to raise the  effectiveness of government work and ensuring  the smooth flowing  of work.

 The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al-Hajri, Governor of the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, and Khalid bin Nasser Al-Abri,  General Manager Corporate Services  in  Oman Data Park.

Commenting on this subject , His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al-Hajri , the Governor of the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah said:” that this agreement comes within the  keenness of the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah in creating  an integrated infrastructure for the provision of e-government services and in a manner that achieves the lofty vision of  His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq  – may almighty Allah  preserve and protect  him – toward  achieving  administrative decentralization , as well as  simplifying and facilitating procedures of services provided to citizens”.

Oman Data Park takes part in the 32nd edition of COMEX 2023 to highlight its latest technical and digital services

Muscat, May 2023: Oman Data Park, the Sultanate’s first cloud services and managed cyber security provider, is participating in the 32nd edition of COMEX 2023, during the period of 22-25, at Oman International Convention and Exhibitions Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Transom Handling LLC signs an agreement with Oman Data Park for the provision of Infrastructure services and Microsoft licenses

Muscat, May 2023: On the sidelines of the activities of the 32ND edition of COMEX exhibition at the Oman International Convention and Exhibition Center, Transom Handling LLC signed an agreement with Oman Data Park for the provision of Infrastructure services and Microsoft licenses.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Saud bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Azizi, CEO of Transom Handling LLC, and Eng. Maqbool bin Salem Al-Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Data Park Company.

Oman Data Park / Cisco Ingram Forum maximizes the awareness about cyber security

 Muscat, January 2023:  Oman Data Park / Cisco Ingram forum, on maximizing the awareness about the cyber security, kicked off recently at Novotel Al Seeb Hotel, in the presence of a number of representatives of governmental entities, private sector companies, interested parties and invited guests.

The forum reviewed a number of working papers and discussions on opportunities to maximize cyber security Maximizing cyber security through assumed breach assessments and through Cisco cloud security, Cisco App Dynamics to transform the applications and business with App Dynamic’s real-time performance monitoring, as well as by using other leading applications in which Oman Data Park deals.

Musandam Governor’s Office inks an agreement with Oman Data Park to provide cloud services and hosting services

 Muscat – Sunday 22/01/2023: To take part in the government digital transformation within the pursuit of the Governorate to keep pace with the technological developments, the Musandam Governor’s Office has signed on (Sunday) a cooperation agreement with Oman Data Park (ODP), to utilize the company’s cloud services in hosting the governorate data center.

In accordance with the inked agreement between the two parties, Oman Data Park will create and host the domain name and e-mails IDs for the   Governorate of Musandam, where ODP will set an official electronic address for the Governorate of Musandam to be used by visitors and beneficiaries of electronic services of the Governorate.

ODP will also create an e-mail ID for each employee in the governorate that allows them to communicate with each other and with others. It will also assure the safe hosting of the Governorate’s data and provide continuous technical support to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of government work as well as assuring the smooth running of its transactions.
